Partick Thistle sign Jake Carroll on loan from Huddersfield
Huddersfield defender Jake Carroll has joined Partick Thistle on loan until January 5.
The 23-year-old's move to the Scottish Premiership comes just days after the Sky Bet Championship side signed QPR left-back Jack Robinson.
Huddersfield's caretaker manager Mark Lillis told the club's website: "The arrival of Jack Robinson allowed us to give Jake the opportunity to go out and gain further first-team experience at a good level, which is very important to his development.
"Jake going out on loan has always been the club's intention; he needs to continue his development by experiencing first-team football at a good level.
"That wasn't possible until we boosted our defensive options, which we have done in signing Jack, who as an England Under-21 international clearly enhances the team."
