Burton v Cheltenham preview
Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Burton Albion and Cheltenham Town at the Pirelli Stadium
Brewers boss Gary Rowett hopes to have players back against Cheltenham so he can freshen up his team.
Attacking players Stuart Beavon (groin), Lucas Akins and Alex MacDonald were not involved against Brighton on Wednesday night as Albion lost 3-0 at home and went out of the Capital One Cup.
"One or two were left out in the hope that we could cope without them. Four or five should be back fresh for Saturday, which should give us a bit more spark," said Rowett, whose team have looked tired recently having slipped to three successive defeats.
Defender Shane Cansdell-Sherriff and midfielder John Mousinho could be in line for recalls, while Lee Bell is almost fit again after an absence with a knee injury.
Cheltenham's new signing Raffaele De Vita looks unlikely to make the trip.
The Italian winger penned a three-month contract with the Robins on Thursday but, having been a free agent since his departure from Bradford earlier in the year, the new signing seems unlikely to make his debut against Stanley due to a lack of match fitness.
Another player who will not be involved is midfielder Jordan Wynter who was recalled by Bristol City after featuring in Town's last five games, but there is better news on the loan front with John Marquis available having extended his loan from Millwall.
Fit-again full-back Lee Vaughan is set to be involved once more having made his comeback from a foot injury in Saturday's draw with Dagenham.
