Burton buoyed by study results
Chairman Ben Robinson has greeted the news that Burton offer fans the cheapest day out in League Two with great satisfaction.
BBC Sport Price of Football study took into account the combined cost of a match ticket to Pirelli Stadium, programme, cup of tea and a pie.
"I am proud that Burton Albion is the cheapest day out for fans in League Two," Robinson told the club website.
"We have always worked hard to offer value for money and keep prices low for fans ever since we were promoted to the Football League in 2009.
"To be recognised for this is a great accolade and I hope people who perhaps haven't headed to the Pirelli Stadium now head along to the game.
"We have the strongest team here since we won promotion, we play exciting football and all at very good prices. I urge everyone in the town to come and back the Brewers as we push for automatic promotion to League One."
