Adam Reach signs deal until 2019 at Middlesbrough


Middlesbrough winger Adam Reach has signed a new four-year contract with the club.


he 21-year-old, who has established himself as a first-team regular under head coach Aitor Karanka this season, will stay at the Riverside until the summer of 2019.


Karanka told the club's official website: "It's very good for Adam and it's very good for the team. Adam is a very good lad and it's important for him to have a contract he deserves.

"He has done well this season. He's improves every week. He's good with the ball, he's powerful, and he's very good tactically."

Reach joined Boro's academy three years ago from Gateshead College and has had loan spells at Darlington, Shrewsbury and Bradford.

He made his Boro debut as a 17-year-old substitute against Doncaster in 2011 and his first start in the home league win against Burnley in 2012.
