Berbatov moves to PAOK

Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov has signed to play for one season with PAOK, the Greek Super League club have announced.
Berbatov, 34, will travel to Thessaloniki on Thursday to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract, PAOK said. His new club PAOK are yet to win in the Super League this term and are 12th in the table.
Berbatov had been was set to sign with Premier League side Aston Villa, but the deal fell through this week. He played last season with AS Monaco, scoring 13 times in 38 matches, following a move from Fulham.
He also has spells with Manchester United (2008-2012), Tottenham Hotspur (2006-2008), Bayer Leverkusen (2001-2006) and CSKA Sofia (1998-2001). Berbatov played for the Bulgarian national side from 1999 to 2010 in 78 matches scoring 48 goals.
