Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, Bordeaux's Thomas Toure and Malaga defender Arthur Boka have been recalled by Côte d'Ivoire to face Liberia in back-to-back FIFA World Cup™ qualifiers later this month.

French coach Michel Dussuyer unveiled his 24-player squad for the matches on Thursday. However, Manchester City star Yaya Toure is still missing.

"We have to get past this round and that is what we're going to try and do against Liberia, who are respectable opponents and who beat Tunisia during qualifying for the 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations as well as eliminating Sierra Leona in the first round of World Cup qualifying," Dussuyer said. "We are expecting a difficult confrontation."
