Transfer news: Jamie O'Hara leaves Wolves after having contract terminated
Wolves have cancelled Jamie O'Hara's contract at Molineux with immediate effect.
The midfielder was not part of Kenny Jackett's plans at the club and had been part of the 'group three' set of players who were training away from the first team.
A club statement read: "Jamie O'Hara has left Wolves with immediate effect, following the cancellation of his contract by mutual consent.
"The midfielder, who made 55 league appearances, joined Wolves permanently in the summer of 2011. The club wishes him well for the future. There will be no further comment."
O'Hara cost the Sky Bet Championship side £5m when they signed him from Tottenham in 2011 on a five-year contract after an initial loan spell.
But he was part of the squad which suffered successive relegations from the Premier League to League One in 2012 and 2013.
