Sky Sports understands Switzerland striker Innocent Emeghara has set his sights on a move to England.

Emeghara is a free agent after his former club Siena went into liquidation earlier in the summer.

The pacy forward has attracted the interest of a number of clubs across Europe, but his preferred destination is a switch to England.

The 25-year-old has flown in to hold talks with interested clubs with several Premier League and Championship sides courting him.

Emeghara, who has scored 11 goals and laid on nine assists in his last two seasons with Siena and Livorno, is aiming to secure a move to England so that he can relaunch his international career with Switzerland.

"I am a free agent and I am currently in England to talk to several interested parties," Emeghara told Sky Sports.

"It has been a dream of mine to play in England as I believe English football is the best in the world and I feel my game suits playing in England.

"I want to find myself a new club as soon as possible and get back to playing and scoring goals so that I can get back in the Switzerland team."
