The Argentinian was very happy with the 74 goals that make him the top all-time Champions League scorer
He also said the team have to keep going to beat PSG at Camp Nou to win the group
FC Barcelona striker Leo Messi has surpassed Raul's Champions League scoring record of after getting a hat trick at GSP Stadium. With 74 goals, Messi is now number one all-time. He was positive about the record although he believes the most important thing is the result: "It's nice to get the record in such a beautiful competition but the most important was the victory. We played a great game."
The Argentinian is aware that, despite the victory in Cyprus, the team must beat PSG to be first in the group: "It will be a difficult game, we know that they have very good players and that they are growing as a team and becoming stronger. We are the home team and we have to play a good game to end up in first place."
Finally, Messi said that "We're Barça and we'll try to achieve our goal at beginning of the year to win everything. We have to stay on this path."
