Barça’s Leo Messi is the star of a commercial produced by Beko, one of the club’s Partner Premiums this season. The video, which was recorded four weeks ago, also features his colleagues Luis Suárez, Andrés Iniesta and Neymar Jr and shows the players in very different situations to those in which we are used to seeing them.
The ad itself is being prepared for release at the same time as next week’s Clásico with Real Madrid, but we are delighted to be able to offer you this sneak preview in the form of behind-the-scenes footage of Messi’s recording session.
Biggest fan wave in the world
Beko and Barça want to combine forces to make Sunday’s match a celebration of world football. To do so, the club sponsor is organising the Beko Global Fan Wave, an initiative that is aiming to create the biggest wave in football history. Global sponsor
Barça and Beko signed a deal last June whereby the household appliances company has become one the club’s global sponsors for the next four years. Through this agreement, the Beko logo appears on the first team shirt-sleeve and also on the training uniforms. In fact, Beko is the first brand to sign a permanent shirt-sleeve deal with the club.
