The Brazilian has now scored more goals as a blaugrana than his countryman and the Argentinian legend
Neymar continues to set new benchmarks with FC Barcelona. With his two goals in Barça's 3–1 win over Villarreal he has now found the net more times with the first team than both Romário and Diego Maradona, who scored 39 and 38 respectively. The current Barça number 11 now has 41 in 74 official matches - of those 41 goals, 26 have come this season and 15 last.
