Brazil have scored a total of 55 goals over 26 matches at FIFA Women’s World Cup™ tournaments, with Marta having contributed 14 of them across the three competitions she has played in so far.
In addition to the three Marta scored at USA 2003 and another four at Germany 2011, she also bagged an impressive seven strikes at China PR 2007, which was also good enough to earn adidas Golden Ball and Golden Shoe awards. The 29-year-old will surely be looking to add to her tally at Canada 2015 this summer, when A Seleção take on Korea Republic, Spain and Costa Rica in Group E.
