A total of 1,643 goals have been scored during FIFA Women's World Cup™ qualifying over the course of 398 matches, resulting in an average of 4.13 goals per game. Germany scored the most goals among qualified teams for Canada 2015 during the preliminary competition, finding the back of the net 62 times.

Meanwhile, Cameroon only managed to score seven times but still sealed their spot at the Women's World Cup. The highest scoring game during qualifying was a 21-0 victory for Jordan against Kuwait.

218 goals were scored during AFC qualifying, African sides struck 127 times, the CONCACAF region registered 208 goals, South American teams grabbed 84 goals, Oceania sides scored 40 times and UEFA teams scored an impressive 965 times. When you add in the one goal scored in the intercontinental play-off between Ecuador and Trinidad and Tobago, the total reaches 1643.
