Ufa, Saransk seal late victories
Two last-gasp goals saw FC Ufa snatch a dramatic 3-2 win over Kuban Krasnodor in the Russian Premier League on Friday evening.
Balde Ibra's goal in the 80th minute looked to have completed a come-from-behind win for the visitors, who had wiped out Denis Tumasyan's opener through substitute Vladislav Ignatiev in the 63rd minute, moments after he had replaced Lorenzo Melgarejo.
But there was a vicious twist in the tail as Pavel Alikin levelled in the 90th minute before Marcinho bagged the winner from the penalty spot. The win sees Ufa move out of the relegation play-off places before the rest of the weekend's action.
There was also a late winner - though not quite so late - in the night's other match as Ruslan Mukhametshin netted ten minutes from time to give Mordovia Saransk a comeback 2-1 win over Ural. The visitors led when Alexander Erokhin scored on the stroke of half-time, but Aslan Dudiev levelled six minutes into the second half.
