Sevilla have continued their summer recruitment drive by completing the signing of highly-rated Ukraine international Yevhen Konoplyanka.

The 25-year-old attacker passed his medical with Sevilla last week but the Spanish outfit were waiting on official documentation from Dnipro to finalise his free transfer. That arrived on Thursday and allowed Konoplyanka, who was part of the Dnipro side that Sevilla beat 3-2 in last season's Europa League final, to move to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on a four-year contract.

A Sevilla statement read: "Yevhen Konoplyanka, Ukrainian midfielder from Dnipro, is officially a Sevilla player.  He passed his medical last week and everything was waiting on Dnipro freeing the player before July 31, which is when his contract finished and he became free. Today the Ukrainian club sent Sevilla the document which authorised the midfielder to join the Nervion club."

Konoplyanka, whose contract has a buy-out clause worth €40 million, is one of a host of new arrivals at Sevilla this summer, with the likes of Adil Rami, Steven Nzonzi, Gael Kakuta, Sergio Escudero and Michael Krohn-Dehli also moving to the Andalusian club.
