Watford have completed the signing of Uruguayan defender Miguel Britos from Napoli.
Britos, 30, has agreed a three-year contract with the Hornets, who won promotion back to the Premier League last season.
The club announced the signing in a statement, saying: "Watford have strengthened their squad further with the permanent signing of experienced Uruguayan defender Miguel Britos."
The centre-half joined Napoli from Bologna and helped them finish second in Serie A during 2012/2013, and also won the Coppa Italia twice.
Britos, though, was sent off in what turned out to be his final appearance for the Naples club after headbutting Alvaro Morata during the closing minutes of the 3-1 defeat at Juventus on 23 May.
