Canada and the United States have qualified for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Papua New Guinea 2016, after qualifying for the final of the CONCACAF Under-20 Women's Championship.
In the opening semi-final, the Canadians beat Mexico 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out following a goalless draw. The suspense was much less intense for the Stars and Stipes, cruising past tournament host Honduras 7-0.
There is just one ticket left available in CONCACAF, with the match for third place between the Mexicans and Hondurans deciding the recipient on Sunday 13 December, just before Canada and USA lock heads for the continental title.
