Panama's Amilcar Henriquez dies, aged 33 - OBITUARIES

Panama international Amilcar Henriquez has died as a result of a shooting in the province of Colon, Panama, where he lived.
The 33-year-old Henriquez, affectionately nicknamed 'Mickey', was a regular in Los Canaleros' midfield in the CONCACAF qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup™, in which Panama currently sit third in the Hexagonal round.
In total, he played 23 World Cup qualifying matches, including for Brazil 2014 and Germany 2006.
He played for Arabe Unido of the Panamanian League, the club for which he made his professional debut in 2003. In his long and successful career, he also featured for Independiente Medellin and America de Cali in Colombia, among a number of other teams in south and central America.
In 2009 he won his sole title with Panama by lifting the Copa Centroamericana.
