These distinguished names all shone at the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the 2017 instalment of which is currently in full swing over in Korea Republic. Between now and the final on 11 June, you have a perfect opportunity to feast your eyes on the latest crop of bright young talents. With round-ups, analysis, reaction, photos, videos and more, FIFA.com will be pulling out all the stops to help you follow the action closely.
If you like the idea of discovering future greats of the beautiful game before anyone else, you have another treat in store for you this week in Switzerland, in the shape of the 79th edition of the Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup. This competition will pit youth teams from some of the top clubs on the planet against one another at Zurich's Buchlern sports complex on 24 and 25 May.
Moving on to established stars, a host of heavyweights will be heading to Russia for theFIFA Confederations Cup in a few weeks' time, before returning there for next summer'sFIFA World Cup.
