Advan is an FC Barcelona regional partner, as well as being the Official FCB Mobile Phone Device in Indonesia 


In a recent meeting at the Ciutat Esportiva, the FC Barcelona first team players got to enjoy the latest technology from Advan, a regional partner of FCB and its Official Mobile Phone Device in Indonesia. Mr Tirta Setyono Siek, president of Advan, and Mr Andy Gusena, director of Endeecomm, presented different models of smartphone and tablet to Luis Suárez, Gerard Piqué, Andrés Iniesta, Jordi Alba and Pedro Rodríguez. The players were able to take photos using Advan devices, and experience the powerful technology that is used in Advan products.

Two year agreement

FC Barcelona and Advan signed an agreement in August that binds them for two years as part of the club’s commercial and technological strategy to expand its ties with Asia, and Indonesia in particular. Founded in 1998, Advan started out as an IT firm, although it now produces a wide range of technology products, such as plasma TVs, Notebooks, PC Tablets, Smartphones and digital accessories. Advan is the domestic leader for telecommunications and also seeks to use technology to educate the nation and help to build a better Indonesia.

Expansion strategy

The agreement with Advan further the club’s expansion into strategic territories through regional agreements, which also helps Barça to get closer to its worldwide fan base. The club already has a number of global partners, including, among others, Nike, Qatar Airways, Beko and Audi.  In the specific case of the Asian market, Barça is reaching deals with some of the continent’s leading firms. In addition to Advan, it also has agreements with Chang Beer, Suning, Apamanshop, Indosat and Panasonic, the latter as a global partner. FC Barcelona has also set up a new office in Hong Kong, which has helped to reach strategic zones in Asia.
