FC Barcelona failed to score in a home league fixture for the first time since the 0-0 draw with Sevilla on October 22, 2011

The 1-0 defeat at home to Celta was the first time in 56 league games that the Camp Nou crowd didn’t have a single goal to celebrate. Here’s a selection of other stats from Saturday’s game.

The last time Barça failed to score at the Camp Nou was on October 22, 2011, in a 0-0 draw with Sevilla.
The absence of any goals also brings an end to Neymar’s scoring run, which had reached six games. Against Celta he hit the woodwork twice.

Javier Mascherano and Dani Alves won the most balls last night, 17 and 13 respectively.

The team against Celta featured three changes from last week’s loss at the Bernabéu. Jordi Alba, Rafinha and Rakitic stepped in for Piqué, Xavi and the injured Iniesta.

There were seven changes with respect to the home game with Celta last season, with only Mascherano, Alba, Messi and Neymar starting both matches.

Rafinha hadn’t started a game since August 31, the 1-0 win at Villarreal.

Claudio Bravo conceded his first goal at the Camp Nou. Until now, the only team to have scored against him was Real Madrid, who got three at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Luis Suárez played the full 90 minutes for the first time since joining FC Barcelona.

Pedro was booked for the third time this season, and the second time in the league.
