Cruz Azul defeated, Chiapas win
Guadalajara came from behind to beat Cruz Azul 2-1 and inflict the Torneo Clausura leaders' first defeat of the campaign. Gerardo Flores gave Cruz Azul a first-half lead which lasted until the 79th minute, but substitute Aldo De Nigris made a swift impact with the equaliser and Marco Fabian scored the winner.
Vicente Vuoso's first-half goal gave Chiapas a 1-0 win over Tigres Monterrey, whose city rivals Monterrey left it late to beat Queretaro 2-1. Both teams went into the match with only one win to their name but it was Monterrey who doubled their tally. Pablo Barrera's opener was quickly cancelled out by Orbelin Pineda but Edwin Cardona was introduced with two minutes left and immediately grabbed the winner.
Pachuca beat Leon 2-1, Erick Gutierrez's strike added to by a Juan Ignacio Gonzalez own goal before Martin Bravo pulled one back from the penalty spot.
