Rafinha scored his first league goal this season and his second ever for Barça

- Barça's dramatic 3–2 comeback win over Villarreal was one if the highlights of the season so far. Let's take a look at the facts and figures surrounding the culer victory:
- Rafinha's goal was his first ever at Camp Nou and his first ever in the league. Until now he had only scored one goal in the Spanish Cup, in Barça's 4–0 win against Huesca.
- Rafinha started at Camp Nou for the first time since the Celta game on 1 November. He was one of three players, along with Alves and Suárez, who had four shots on goal.
- Claudio Bravo hadn't let in more than one goal in a match since Barça fell 3–1 to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on 25 October. He had never given up more than one goal at Camp Nou.
- Leo Messi is closing in on 300 league games played. He currently stands at 298, with 264 goals scored.
- Villarreal is now, along with Granada, the team that has given up the most goals to Neymar in La Liga, with 3. Atlético Madrid have conceded five to Neymar if you also include the Spanish Cup, the Spanish Super Cup and the Champions League.
- Andrés Iniesta played his second straight full match for the first time this season.
- Gerard Piqué has set a new record this year with five consecutive starts without being substituted in any of the matches.
- Piqué also recovered the most balls with 17. The entire Villarreal defence only got back 22.
- Barça hadn't won 3–2 at Camp Nou since facing Sevilla in week 4 of last season, when Alexis scored the game-winner in injury time.
