Zenit win to go ten points clear as Dinamo beat CSKA
Zenit St. Petersburg re-established a ten-point lead at the top of the Russian Premier League by beating Terek Grozny 2-1 on Wednesday. Andre Villas-Boas' men are being chased by Krasnodar, 2-1 winners at Rubin Kazan on Tuesday, but responded well with Oleg Shatov and Jose Salomon Rondon cancelling out Andrei Semenov's 18th-minute opener.
In fourth place are Dinamo Moscow, who closed to within four points of city rivals CSKA - the reigning Russian champions - with a 2-1 victory at Arena Khimki.
Aleksei Ionov fired Dinamo ahead in the tenth minute only for Georgi Milanov to equalise for CSKA six minutes later. The derby was, however, settled in the Belo-golubye's favour in the 25th minute, thanks to Balazs Dzsudzsak.
The other Moscow derby saw Lokomotiv beat ten-man Torpedo 2-0 with a brace from Manuel Fernandes, while Ural defeated Kuban Krasnodar by the same scoreline, Fedor Smolov scoring twice.
