This week, EA SPORTS™ FIFA 16 rolled out onto shelves all over the world. The winner of the E3 2015 Game Critics Best Sports Game award has some incredible new features for fans including: women’s national teams, no touch dribbling – the new dribble control system that gives players the freedom to decide how and when to touch the ball - and a new FIFA trainer to help you take our football to the next level.

“It has been incredible to see the number of fans already engaging in and enjoying FIFA 16 through EA Access and our preseason demo,” said Nick Channon, Senior Producer of EA SPORTS FIFA. “We are very excited with the early feedback, particularly on the balanced gameplay, and now that the game is launching across the globe, we shift our focus to providing the best live service in the industry.”

Most importantly, FIFA 16 means another edition of the FIFA Interactive World Cup, the official FIFA tournament to decide the world champion of virtual football! FIWC 2016 kicks off on 1 October. There are three online seasons, 31 qualification seats and only one way to qualify for the Grand Final, win, win, win!

Get your copy of FIFA 16, get training and join us in the FIWC mode of FIFA 16 on either Xbox or PlayStation on 1 October for the opening day of online qualifiers. Qualification for FIWC 2016 runs from 1 October 2015 to 1 January 2016.
