On 11 January at Zurich’s Kongresshaus, the FIFA/FIFPro World XI for 2015 was revealed during the 2015 FIFA Ballon d’Or ceremony.
Prior to the announcement, FIFA.com club members were given the chance to try and predict the players that would comprise the World XI. From 26 November to 8 January, thousands of fans from all over the world submitted their World XI dream teams to the FIFA World XI Predictor contest in the hope of winning some fantastic prizes that included footballs and jerseys signed by the biggest names in men's and women's football.
For 2015, the 55 nominees for the World XI were filtered down to the final 11. Fans had a tough time selecting just 11 players from the impressive list of names. Ultimately, no single club member managed to predict all of them, but a special few came very close! Club members from over 170 countries competed in the contest. Congratulations to the several cub members that managed to predict 10 of the 11 players! The club members that were the most accurate in predicting the World XI were placed into the prize draw for the contest. The prize winners are listed below.

Popular choicesA few names proved to be very popular choices among fans, but did not feature in the final 11. Ultimately, over 20,000 professional footballers from all over the world decided on the final 11 names that would receive a coveted place in the world’s best team for 2015.
