To mark the 30th anniversary of the 1986 FIFA World Cup Mexico™, we have an exceptional programme lined up over the coming days, inviting you to take a fresh look at this legendary edition of the tournament.

What became of the shirt that Diego Maradona was sporting when he scored his unforgettable brace against England? What went through the minds of Bruno Bellone and Carlos in the heat of the moment following the former's incredible penalty in the shoot-out between France and Brazil? Why did Uruguay's Jose Charly Batista receive the fastest red card in the tournament's history? How far did the Argentinians' superstitions stretch?

You can find out the answers to all of these questions and many more thanks to the week-long series of exclusive interviews and special materials that we will be bringing you from this Wednesday up until 29 June, the date on which Argentina famously lifted the Trophy 30 years ago.

Stay tuned to our dedicated Twitter, Instagram and Facebook profiles, and of course FIFA.com, for a wonderful week of 1986 World Cup-related content.

On Friday, meanwhile, we will turn our attention to the future in the shape of the draw for the third round of African qualifying for Russia 2018, which gets underway in October. The 20 best teams from the continent will be eagerly waiting for their fate to be determined in Cairo, where five groups will be drawn, the winners of which will book a ticket to the finals. As ever, FIFA.com will be giving you a front-row seat to follow the proceedings.

There is another event to circle in red on Wednesday, as we will be kicking off the 100-day countdown to the start of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Jordan 2016. Watch this space to gear up for this competition and to get all the latest on other upcoming FIFA Tournaments.

Naturally, we will also be keeping close tabs on the decisive matches on the cards at UEFA EURO 2016 and the Copa America Centenario, as well as serving up our usual batch of exclusive interviews, regular features, photos and videos. Have a great week on FIFA.com.
