PSG's David Luiz to miss Barça tie
Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz will miss both legs of the club's UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona after being ruled out for four weeks through injury.
The Ligue 1 leaders have suffered a further blow with the news Thiago Motta will also miss the first leg against the Catalan giants at the Parc des Princes next week with injury. Both players picked up injuries in Sunday's 3-2 Ligue 1 win at Marseille.
PSG coach Laurent Blanc told a press conference on Tuesday: "David Luiz will be sidelined four weeks and Thiago Motta ten days following their injuries against Marseille."
Both players will miss Wednesday's Coupe de France semi-final against Saint-Etienne, Saturday's Coupe de la Ligue final against Bastia and, most importantly, the first leg of their Champions League last-eight match against Barca.
Blanc added: "It will take us time to do deal with injuries we have. Nevertheless, we will play to win all our matches."
